My Daily Routine (at the moment)
7ish: Subconscious Session
Write down dreams
Make black coffee
Jump onto FaceTime with external accountability (process buddy - we don’t actually talk, its just to make sure we’re doing the work)
Brainstorm my MIQ (Most Important Question)
8:30ish: Start Again
Sweat (some form of exercise to increase heart rate, loosen joints up & get out of my head and into my body)
Jump in ocean
Read or listen to great information (book or podcast) whilst having 2nd coffee
Breathing exercise
Open Notebook
Write down three things (3 things I’m thankful for, 3 things I have the opportunity to do today, 3 things that would make today great)
10ish: Deep Work #1
Do work which is important & not urgent
11:30ish: Jiu Jitsu Training
Stretch
Set Intention
Class
Stretch
Write down (or draw) what I learnt
13:30ish: Lunch & Connection
Eat good stuff
Speak to people I love
14:30ish: Deep Work #2
Do work which is important & not urgent
16:30ish: Admin
Check & Respond to emails
Check & Respond to messages and missed calls (I have no notifications on my phone)
Do errands, etc etc
(Basically do all the things which could have distracted me from doing whats most important throughout the day)
17:30ish: Dinner & Connection
Eat good stuff
Speak to people I love
19:00ish: Whatever
Depends on the day of the week
Acting Class, Connection, Chill, YouTube, 2nd Jiu Jitsu Training, etc etc
10:00ish: Bed
Sleepy Tea
Write down my MIQ on a blank page
Leave my notebook open and ready on the table for me to start again the next day
…
Important to note
I don’t have to do any of this. I want to do these things. They energise me.
Will I do this every day?
Nope
I scrap or adapt these things at the drop of a hat
Yesterday I had rehearsals all day then acting class at night
So I just deleted my plan, did what I needed to do, then started again today :)
The point is I try move in a direction which makes my inner child feel proud of me when I place my head on the pillow
